New Delhi. The form of Jantar Mantar, which has been the historical center of conveying one’s views to the government in Delhi and protesting against one’s demands, may now change. A high-powered committee of the Home Ministry has recommended removing Jantar Mantar completely from the list of official protest sites. As an alternative to this historical place, three new places in Delhi have been suggested as authorized protest sites:
Ramlila Maidan (Central Delhi)
Burari Ground (North Delhi)
cbd ground (East Delhi)
After this decision of the committee, the series of protests that have been going on for decades at Jantar Mantar near the Parliament may come to a complete halt and the only option left will be the newly decided places for the protests.
