Ajay Devgan’s much awaited film ‘Drishyam 3’ is maintaining a strong hold at the box office. Although there was a bigger decline than expected in the film’s business on the second Monday, makers and trade analysts are hopeful that due to the ‘Blockbuster Tuesday’ offer, there will be a huge jump in the film’s collection again on the second Tuesday i.e. the 13th day. Let us know how the box office journey of the film has been since its release.
The first week has been great and the initial trends
The film created a stir at the box office upon its release. ‘Drishyam 3’ had crossed the impressive figure of Rs 245.50 crore in its first week. After this, on the second weekend also the magic of the film reached the audience. The film had earned Rs 14.50 crore on the eighth day, a huge jump of Rs 26.50 crore on the ninth day i.e. second Saturday and Rs 22.50 crore on the tenth day. However, due to the 11th day i.e. second Monday being a working day, there was a huge decline in the film’s earnings and it could collect only Rs 6.25 crore. With this, the total net earnings of the film in India in 11 days had reached Rs 315.25 crore.

The pace of the film may have slowed down, but its total collection has reached a big milestone. According to initial figures, the film has made a business of around Rs 2.15 crore till 3 pm on the 12th day of its release. With this, the total net earnings of the film in India in 12 days has now increased to Rs 317.40 crore. However, the final figures of the 12th day will be revealed only by late night, after which it will be clear how much business the film has done throughout the day.
The sting of the film is resonating in foreign countries also
